The Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana (मुख्यमंत्री लाड़ली बहना योजना) is a Madhya Pradesh government scheme that sends a monthly amount to women's bank accounts. It was launched on 10 June 2023, as reported by PTI, and by 2026 about 1.25 crore women were receiving it.

Ladli Behna Yojana amount: from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500
The monthly amount has been raised twice. All figures below are as reported by news outlets:

Extra amounts have come around Raksha Bandhan. Rs 250 extra was paid in August 2025, and the 19 August 2026 installment was Rs 1,750 (Rs 1,500 plus a Rs 250 Rakhi gift), as reported by the Free Press Journal. Women who already get a social security pension are reported to receive Rs 900 a month under the scheme (Indian Masterminds, 13 October 2026).
Rs 3,000? Leaders have said the amount will rise gradually to Rs 3,000, but no date has been fixed and it was not implemented as of October 2026, as reported.

The 41st installment date was reported as scheduled one day before this update. Please confirm on the official portal or your bank SMS that it has been credited. According to Indian Masterminds (12 September 2026), the total paid since launch had reached Rs 65,395.99 crore.

Who is eligible
The scheme started for married women aged 23 to 60. On 23 September 2023, unmarried women above 21 were included, as reported by PTI. Recent reports describe these conditions:
- Women aged about 21 to 60 (married, unmarried, widowed or divorced). Reports differ on the exact upper age, so check the portal.
- Family income below Rs 2.5 lakh a year.
- No family member in a government job or paying income tax.
- Family does not own more than 5 acres of land, a tractor or a four-wheeler.
- Bank account in the woman's own name.
In September 2025 the state announced an audit of the beneficiary list and asked ineligible women to withdraw voluntarily, as reported by Drishti IAS.
New registration (online apply 2026): we found no source confirming that new applications are open in 2026. Treat any "Ladli Behna Yojana online apply 2026" or "form last date" post as unconfirmed until it appears on the official portal or in a government announcement.
Ladli Behna e-KYC and Samagra ID
As reported by Outlook Money (17 August 2026), registration needs the family and member Samagra IDs, Aadhaar, and a mobile number linked to Samagra. KYC is compulsory, and the bank account must be in the woman's name.
NewsX reported (10 August 2026) that payments may be held where Aadhaar linking, e-KYC or the bank's DBT status is incomplete. If your money has stopped, these are the first things to check:
- Samagra e-KYC completed and Aadhaar linked.
- Bank account linked with Aadhaar and enabled for DBT (ask your bank branch).
- Your mobile number is the one registered with Samagra.
We could not confirm the exact Samagra e-KYC procedure or any deadline for it. Ask at your gram panchayat, ward office or Anganwadi centre, and check the official portal.
How to check Ladli Behna Yojana status
The official Ladli Behna portal is run by the Madhya Pradesh government. Its address is widely cited as cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in, though we could not open it to confirm; type it carefully and make sure it ends in mp.gov.in. As reported, the status check works like this:
- Open the official Ladli Behna portal in your browser.
- Look for an option such as "Application and Payment Status". The label may be different.
- Enter your application number or Samagra member ID and the captcha.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile on the official page only.
- View your payment history. Status usually updates a day or two after a transfer, according to NewsX.
If the site does not load or looks different, check your bank passbook or ask at your gram panchayat or ward office.
Ladli Behna Yojana Maharashtra? Not the same scheme
Many people search for "Ladli Behna Yojana Maharashtra" or "Punjab". Ladli Behna is a Madhya Pradesh scheme.
