Fact-Checking Policy
How we source, label, date and correct information.
Sources we use
- Official government portals (gov.in and nic.in), scheme guidelines and official PDFs.
- Answers given in Parliament and releases from the Press Information Bureau.
- Reputable news reports, which we label as reported news, never as official rules.
How we write
- Every amount, deadline, helpline and link must come from a source we have checked, and we give the date a figure refers to.
- When something is unconfirmed, we say so and send readers to the official portal or office.
- Menu names on government portals change, so our steps describe what to look for rather than promise exact buttons.
- Each guide shows the date it was last checked and lists its sources.
Corrections
If you find an error, email guestpostadvertising@gmail.com with the page and what is wrong. We check and correct confirmed errors quickly and update the checked date.
